Grain quotes, High Plains & Gulf
Texas High Plains cash grain markets, compared to the last report on Dec. 31, closed 7 cents to 8 cents higher on grain sorghum, 12 cents higher on wheat, mostly 12 cents higher on soybeans and 4 cents higher on corn.
Prices paid or bid to the producer f.o.b. elevator as of 3:00 p.m. Grain sorghum quoted per hundredweight; wheat, corn and soybeans per bushel.

Grain sorghum: $5.91-6.00
Wheat: $5.52-5.67
Soybeans: $7.89-8.51
Corn: $4.01-4.11
Triangle area from Plainview to Canyon to Farwell:
Grain sorghum: $5.56-5.65
Wheat: $5.42-5.57
Soybeans: $8.09-8.09
Corn: $4.01-4.11
Area south of a Line from Plainview to Muleshoe:
Grain sorghum: $5.38-5.56
Wheat: $5.47-5.52

Elevators in the Texas South Plains reported offers and bids for:
No. 2 grain sorghum: $6.81-6.90 per cwt
No. 2 yellow corn: $8.33-8.40 per cwt
Texas Gulf export bids, compared to the last report on Dec. 31, closed 12 1/4 cents higher on wheat and 7 cents to 17 cents higher on grain sorghum.
No. 1 HRW wheat: $6.65 1/4-6.87 1/4 per bu
No. 2 grain sorghum: $7.17-7.34 per cwt
No. 2 yellow corn: bids insufficient to quote
