The Harrison County Sheriff's Office filed an assault causing bodily injury report earlier this week after a woman was struck several times while driving.
The incident occurred 2:45 p.m. Sunday on Farm-to-Market Road 2525 between Highway 31 and Highway 59. It did not list a suspect or indicate an arrest.
HCSO dispatch said Wednesday that the Criminal Investigation Division is handling the case.
Arrests by Marshall Police Department
John Willis Johnson, 60, 906 Mahone St., possession of marijuana, 10:28 a.m. Tuesday.
Tonya Renee Spearman, 22, 201 Gehlan St., Harrison County warrants for speeding (two counts), unsecured child (two counts), failure to report change of address and failure to appear, 2:12 p.m. Tuesday.
Albert Jovan Flowers, 40, 1801 Grafton St., MPD warrant for no driver's license, 10:52 p.m. Tuesday.
Incidents reported to Marshall Police Department
Theft: 600 block of West Houston Street. Someone said that 60 feet of copper water pipe was stolen from under their house, 9:06 a.m. Tuesday.
Burglary of a building: 1300 block of University Avenue. an entry door was reported damaged at a local shop, but nothing was reported missing, 10:12 a.m. Tuesday.
Forgery of a financial instrument: 300 block of West Burleson Street. A man said someone cashed a check on his account, 10:44 a.m. Tuesday.
Theft: 800 block of Kahn Street. Someone's $12 auto parts was reportedly taken without consent, 2:13 p.m. Tuesday.
Criminal mischief: 600 block of West Houston Street. More than $500 of copper piping was reportedly damaged, 3:58 p.m. Tuesday.
Burglary: 0 block of Linwood Drive. A woman said her resident was burglarized and $400 in video games, a $129 Sony Playstation 2 and a $600 Sony Playstation 3 was stolen, 5:26 p.m. Tuesday.
Assault: 600 block of South East End Boulevard. Someone was reportedly pushed at a local clothing store, 6:42 p.m. Tuesday.

Kendrick Vonshay Sanders, 18, 4489 Calloway Rd., assault and family violence, terroristic threat, 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Burglary of a building: 1300 block of Franklin Road, Hallsville. Several items were reported stolen, 7:28 p.m. Tuesday.
Theft: 500 block of Macedonia Street. No further details given, 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Identity theft: Internet. A man said he noticed some unauthorized purchases on his account from Internet sales, 10:47 a.m. Tuesday.
Jail Population
As of 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, there were 180 inmates in the custody of Harrison County Jail. The local facility has a capacity of 150 with the remainder housed in Limestone County Jail in Groesbeck.
