Cocaine was not on the doctor's orders

Marshall police filed a narcotics report after a security guard found a bag of cocaine in a hospital bed. The report was made 1:48 a.m. Sunday from the 800 block of South Washington Avenue.

An assault report was filed after a woman said another hit her with a container of soft drink. The other woman said she also wished to file a report because she had been hit first by a rock thrown by the other female.

The incident occurred 8:24 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Atkins Boulevard.

Arrests by Marshall Police Department

Kasey Claudean Duncan, 1618 Swan Road, Diana, theft over $50, 3:53 p.m. Saturday.

Robie Sullins, 18, 1618 Swan Road, Diana, theft over $50, 4:31 p.m. Saturday.

Charles Anthony Jones, 34, 121 Fairfield St., assault, 8:13 p.m. Saturday.

Incidents reported to Marshall Police

Discharging firearms: 700 block of West Meredith Street. A man said a woman shot at him, 7:36 p.m. Saturday.

Theft: 200 block of East Pinecrest Drive. Someone drove off without paying for $20.02 worth of gasoline, 8:05 p.m. Saturday.

Assault: 1700 block of East End Boulevard North. There was a fight in the parking lot of a store, 8:11 p.m. Saturday.

Theft: 600 block of South Allen Boulevard. A lawn mower and a ladder were taken, 9:22 p.m. Saturday.

Assault: reported at Marshall Police and Fire Complex. A woman said her husband assaulted her, 1 a.m. Sunday.

Fight in progress: 4800 block of Five Notch Road. Police dispersed crowds after being told eight fights were going on, 3:05 a.m. Sunday.

Assault: reported from the 800 block of South Washington Avenue. A man's nose was injured in a fight with a family member, 4:58 a.m. Sunday.

Assault: 1400 block of Poplar Street. A man assaulted someone, 7:55 a.m. Saturday.

Theft: Bryan Street. A man said his boat was stolen, 11:10 a.m. Saturday.

Theft: reported at Marshall Police and Fire Complex. A bicycle was taken, 11:13 a.m. Saturday.

Theft: 400 block of Lon Street. A woman said a man stole all her money, 11:22 a.m. Saturday.

Criminal mischief: 900 block of Beaugreguard Street. Glass was broken in the back window of a car, 3:40 p.m. Saturday.

Theft: 100 block of Interstate Highway 20 West. A lap top computer was taken from a motel, 4:05 p.m. Saturday.

Zachary Allen, 19, 220 Syble Lane, Longview, possession of a controlled substance, Thursday.

Dewey Castro Rosario, 37, 5235 McCann Road, Longview, possession of marijuana, Thursday.

Frank Duggan, 60, 297 Lawrence Road, assault family violence, 10 a.m. Sunday.

Allen Dewayne Hendrix, 29, 6586 Farm-to-Market Road 450 North, assault family violence, 12:32 a.m. Saturday.

Joseph Darrell Craver, 36, 807 Yaney St., possession of marijuana, 12 p.m. Sunday.

Kevin Todd Fisher, 40, 800 W. Emory St., bond forfeiture for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 2:50 p.m. Sunday.

Julian Wells, 23, 245 Nesbitt Cemetery Road, driving while intoxicated and criminal mischief, 4:55 a.m. Saturday.

Henry Wells, 27, 710 Beth Ann Drive, criminal mischief, 4:55 a.m. Saturday.

Incidents reported to Harrison County Sheriff's Office

Burglary of a habitation: 900 block of Pine Bluff Road. A house was broken into and jewelry valued at $3,000 was taken, 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Jail Population

As of 3:30 p.m. Sunday, there were 175 inmates in the custody of Harrison County Jail. The local facility has a capacity of 150 with others housed in Limestone County.
