Free, full-length news podcasts

Turn your drive time, workout time, or other monotonous time into enjoyable, productive listening with podcasts of our top stories from Newsworthy Audio. A podcast is an audio file that can be downloaded automatically to your computer using RSS feeds.

Podcasts bring you a variety of top news, sports and entertainment stories. Each article is full length, not just a headline or first paragraph. Listen on your iPod or your computer.

Hints for iTunes users

1. Set your Podcast preferences to "Keep last 10 episodes" since each story is an episode.

2. The first time you download the Podcast, make sure you "Get" each episode. You only need to do this once.

3. The best way to listen to a Podcast is to create a "Smart Playlist" with the "Album" name equal to the name of the Podcast. Doing this will allow you to easily progress through the Podcast one story at a time. This is very helpful if you synch your iTunes to an iPod.

To set up a Smart Playlist in iTunes click on the "File" menu item and select "New Smart Playlist...". Select "Album" from the first drop down menu. Select "Contains" from the second drop down. Type in the name of the Podcast in the third box and click "OK." When you attach your iPod, remember to tell iTunes that you want this playlist to automatically sync to your iPod.
